Survey and fixed quote
We look at the property, agree the layout and spec with you, and give one fixed price. No day rates, no open-ended estimates.

First fix
New cables are run to every point — sockets, switches, lights and the new consumer unit position. This is the noisy, dusty stage, and we sheet up and work room by room to keep it manageable.

Plastering up
Chases and holes are made good with complimentary plastering, so you're not left finding your own plasterer afterwards.

Second fix, test and certify
Faceplates, fittings and the consumer unit go on. Then every circuit is tested, and you receive the certificate and schedule of test results. Building control notification is handled for you.

How long does a rewire take?
Most Leeds homes take somewhere between one and two weeks, depending on size and whether the property is occupied. We'll give you a realistic timescale with the quote.
Can we live in the house during the rewire?
Usually, yes. We work room by room and keep power on where we safely can. An empty house is quicker and cheaper, but living through it is manageable.
Do you really include the plastering?
Yes. Chases and holes are plastered up as part of the package, so the walls are ready for decorating.
Do I need a full rewire, or just part?
Not every home needs the lot. Sometimes a partial rewire or a new consumer unit is the honest answer, and we'll tell you if it is.
Will the work be certified?
Yes. You receive an Electrical Installation Certificate with the schedule of test results, and building control notification is handled through our Part P registration.
How much does a rewire cost in Leeds?
